International Conference

Inaugurated in 1991, the biennial International Conference on Manufacturing Technology (ICMT) is recognized as a significant international gathering of top Chinese manufacturing executives, technologists and their foreign counterparts who are interested in seeking collaborative opportunities.

Facing globalization in manufacturing, the Conference convenes experts of various disciplines to look into the development of manufacturing technologies and strategic manufacturing management techniques. More importantly, the Conference is not only academic in nature; it also provides a forum for the exchange of expertise and ideas and facilitates business collaboration between industry professionals. The Conference is attended by famous international manufacturing technologists, entrepreneurs, manufacturing professionals and industrialists from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas.

The Conferences were held in Hong Kong in 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2001 and 2003; the fifth one was held in Beijing in 1999.
