Since 1993, training courses in Hong Kong have been organized by the Foundation for executives from Mainland China. The Foundation sponsored all necessary costs for the training. By the end of 2004, a total of 10,443 management executives participated in nearly 300 courses organized by the Foundation. These courses included “Development Course for Senior Managers of Machinery Manufacturing Industries in China”, “Development Course for Senior Managers of University-Owned Technology-based Enterprises in China”, “Development Course on Industrial Design for Senior Managers of Manufacturing Industries in China”, “Development Course for Senior Managers of Plastic Injection Industries in China”, “Government Official-Management Course” and “Market Economy Course” and were sponsored by the Chen Hsong Group. 69.5% of the course participants were senior executives and engineers, while 80.8% of the participants were below age 45.

After more than two decades of efforts in training executives from all over China, the Foundation is well regarded as one of the largest charitable organizations in Hong Kong committed in training executives from the machinery and manufacturing sector in China.

With the assistance of industrial experts and professionals from Hong Kong and Taiwan, the Foundation organized courses with theories/ practices that could be readily applicable to the participants' own workplace. Visits to factories and organizations were also arranged during the courses. The site visits included the Chen Hsong Group, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Industrial Centre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, ICAC, Hong Kong Stock Exchange and other public organizations. A training Course Reference Manual and a CD-ROM were published as well. After satisfactory completion of the training, participants received certificates issued by the course organizers in Hong Kong including the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Open University of Hong Kong.

Participants gave very positive feedback on the training courses. Some participants also took the opportunity to make friends and promote their companies during the courses. Networking among the participants was fostered and reinforced.
